About Move Through Motivation Scholarship
We believe in strengthening the community and where better to start than with the youth. Lets face it, they are the future and this is our chance to make sure they are on the right path.
The Move Through Motivation (501c3 Non-Profit) Scholarship has been designed to allow students grades 4-12 and opportunity to receive a scholarship. This isn’t your typical high school graduation scholarship. This is an opportunity to continue to get a scholarship year after year, starting in grade 4. Why you may ask? We believe that supporting those who want to improve their own community and situation should be given every opportunity to do so.
How is this different than other scholarships? Other than starting at a younger age and have 6 scholarships awarded per year (2 per category), our board of local community members will mentor each of the scholarship recipients to offer guidance and support. These board members range from city council members to business owners to professional athletes. We believe the year long mentorship will be more valuable than the scholarship itself.
