First, thank you for taking the time to read this!

I am so fortunate to be able to send my girls, Anna and Karina, to the Lexington Montessori School (LMS). There are so many reasons why it is an amazing place but to give you just a few reasons they are:

- the community,
- the faculty dedication,
- the school enviornment works to build my girls' confidence
- there is diversity on every level.

On Saturday, May 12, 2012 I will be participating in the 2nd Annual LMS 5K Run/Walk and I am asking if you will support me, my cause and the event I am organzing. By giving, at any level, to Anna's and Karina's school you are making a difference in the daily operations of LMS and the daily lives of all LMS children, including Anna and Karina. All proceeds go to the school and help cover the cost of essential things such as faculty salaries, financial assistance, classroom materials, just to name a few.

Did you know that at LMS....

- it is an inclusive community with a teaching philosophy designed to help children develop independence and self-discipline, respect, compassion and a lifelong love of learning;

- in 2010-2011, 30% of the student body received need-based tuition grants (72 grants, 33% of grants are up to 50% aid, 33% of grants fall within 50-75% aid and 33% of grants fall within 76 - 97% aid);

- in 2010-2011, 90% of LMS parents dedicated a substantial amount of volunteer time to the school.

About LMS Annual Fund
Proceeds from the Lexington Montessori School (LMS) 5K Run/Walk will go to the LMS Annual Fund. The Annual Fund covers expenses and supports ongoing priorities such as faculty salaries and benefits, financial aid to students and all classroom material expenses, just to name a few.

LMS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization; contributions are tax-deductible.
