Thank you so much for considering joining Vanessa's Team! We are a public group- if you want to join the team, please do so! We will all come together on June 18th, 2022 either in person at Wachusett Mountain or in spirit, virtually with a run in your own community.
Join us in taking part in the 6th Annual VTMF 5K run/walk in support of The Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation, who was tragically killed while out for a short walk. More than 600 women are assaulted each day. Please join me in raising money for a foundation that advocates for a world where woman are safe and free!
When you support the Vanessa's team, you will be helping to fund the Foundation's important programs. Programs include education and advocacy to increase safety awareness and reduce objectification, harassment and violence. The Foundation has trained thousands of women on self-defense, has provided education for people of all ages on violence prevention, and we partner with like-minded youth organizations to address the root causes of violence against women. Vanessa inspires our mission and fuels our efforts.
