November was a devastating month for the Thousand Oaks community. We consider ourselves very fortunate and now it is our turn to support our neighbors. Kyle’s school is co-sponsoring a 5K race to support the victims/families of the shooting at Borderline as well as those impacted by the Hill and Woolsey fires. He and I will both be participating and would be very grateful if you would consider donating to this cause.

About 805 Strong 5K
The 805 Strong 5K was created to bring together Thousand Oaks residents and support those who need it most following the recent tragic events in our community. Proceeds will benefit two of the Ventura County Community Foundation’s funds — the Conejo Valley Victims Fund and the Hill Fire/Woolsey Fire Sudden and Urgent Needs Effort.
