Happy May Day, everybody! I hope that you, your families and your furry friends are doing well during these difficult times. Stella and I are going to take Ladybug (my rescue dog from Texas) for a walk on Sunday morning to help raise money for and support the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Regional Dog Shelter. Shelters are working hard right now to continue to rescue and care for animals in need. Shelter staff are the essential workers for the pet population right now, and as a dog and cat lover, I'd like to try to help them even a little bit, since they have lost out on many fundraising opportunities that have had to be postponed due to the current world-wide health crisis.
