Runway is near and dear to me - from being a runway model, family grant reader, liaison for our family beneficiaries, to current Board Member. Helping families affected by breast cancer be afforded a sense of normalcy through funding everyday essentials - groceries, gas, afterschool activities, summer camp, tutoring, and so much more - is my way of paying it forward. While I have been had my own breast cancer journey losing my mom and cousin to breast cancer, my aunt being a 3x survivor, and myself having the BRCA1 mutation that has wreaked havoc on my family, I have been so fortunate in many other ways. Having access to private education is something I am ever grateful for and want that opportunity for Runway kids for those who are in challenging and dire educational circumstances. Having the run at my high school alma mater is even more meaningful to me as the funds raised from this run will go directly to the Linda K. Cohen Tuition Fund within Runway and to also benefit educational and tutoring services for the families we fund. Any amount you are able to contribute will have a major impact.
