About Don't Lose Hope: 5k for Suicide Awareness
Help us bring awareness to Suicide by joining us in a 5k run (or walk) around Buttonwood Park in New Bedford.
Run with a p u r p o s e.
Run for a loved one who you’ve lost to suicide, run for a friend you know is struggling, or run for your own personal mental health battle.
Whatever your reason, you’re making a d i f f e r e n c e.
Join us on Sunday, October 17th as we enjoy the scenic route of New Bedford’s beautiful Buttonwood Park! Registration will begin at 7:30 am and the official race start time will be 8:30 am. Upon your arrival on race day, please be sure to check in as well as get your honor beads.
Child & Family’s Emergency Services (Crisis Center) operates 24 hours a day and provides care for people of all ages in need of emergency mental health evaluations. An experienced master’s level clinician is available seven days a week and there is always a psychiatrist on-call. A clinician evaluates the client in crisis and arranges appropriate treatment.
