The "Do it for her 5K" is a local race in Temecula, Ca to support a local family waging their battle against cancer. Participating in this fundraiser is my way of helping someone else less fortunate than I and it reminds me to be grateful for what I have; to include medical care, access, and physical capability. Participating in the run gives me a starting milestone as I am trying to work my way back from several illnesses over the last four months and allows me the opportunity to be out with others that also feel good being active, want to help a community member, and enjoy being in nature. I signed up last minute, so my goal is to help contribute anything possible. I personally contributed with my registration.
