About Run the Headlines 5k
Fig City® News is a free, online community newspaper founded in 2022 by Amy Sangiolo, Bruce Henderson, and other resident volunteers to provide a knowledgeable, fair, trusted resource for local news and community events in Newton, Massachusetts. All proceeds raised through this event will directly benefit their summer internship program. This program provides real-world journalism experience to local high school and college students. The money raised for them pays these students for their work!
