Founders Day 5k
The Abington Celebrates Founders Day 5k begins and ends at Memorial Field behind the Frolio School at 1071 Washington Street. Timing is provided by Al Donaghy and friends. Medals for overall top 3 finishers, male and female, and for top finishers in age categories. Money raised benefits the Abington Celebrates Programs. The race is part of the weekend's Founders Day celebration, including a fireworks display at 9 pm the night of the race.
Race Course
The course is a mostly flat and shady course which includes a run through Island Grove and over Memorial Bridge.
