About This Event
Come join us for the PATRIOT 5K in beautiful Palm Springs, California. This 5K run/walk is runner, walker, stroller and doggie friendly. All monies raised support organizations that serve our active duty and veterans heroes, including Team Red, White and Blue, SOS RideS, Owen Coffman American Legion Palm Springs, Tunnel to Towers, Folds of Honor and the Armed Services YMCA.
Our 5K includes a great race, tech t-shirt, finisher dog tag, flower presentation to you by an active duty military representative, MRE reusable goody bag , free photo downloads, great viewing of the City of Palm Springs Veteran's Day Parade, entertainment following the parade and a fireworks show!
Course
This fast and flat course starts and finishes at Ruth HardyPark in Palm Springs. This 5K course is runner, walker, stroller and doggie friendly.
Awards
All finishers will be awarded a beautiful patriotic finisher medal at the finish line. Age group medals awarded 3-deep in 5 year age groups through 90 years +. Special categories for active military and challenged athletes., strollers and doggies.
T-Shirts
A military themed event tech T-shirt is included with your registration fee.
Packet pick-up
You may pick up packets for friends so long as you sign the waiver at pick-up. Packet pick-up will be held Saturday, November 19th from 11AM - 5PM at Running Wild 611 S. Palm Canyon, Palm Springs. Running Wild is located in the corner unit of the Sun Center Shopping Plaza next to the Revivals store. Race day registration and late packet pick-up is available race day, on site, beginning at 6:30a.m. at the race site, Ruth Hardy Park.
Directions and Parking
Ample parking is available near-by in the neighborhoods surrounding the park.
Active Duty and Veterans
All active duty personnel and veterans run for half price! Just show your military ID, at packet pick-up or race day morning and you're in for half price ($17.50)! Sorry - no on-line registration for this discount as we need to verify your military status.
