ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Charles River Center will hold its annual 5K Run/1-Mile Walk on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Proceeds will benefit over 1000 children and adults with disabilities served by the Charles River Center. All abilities welcome!
COURSE
This course loops through the scenic backroads of Needham and Wellesley, and begins and ends at the Charles River Center, 59 East Militia Heights Drive, Needham.
10:00 AM: 5k Run
10:15 AM: 1 Mile Walk
ANNOUNCEMENT: the addition of age categories to this year’s 5K Run!
Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, you'll now have the opportunity to compete against others in your age group. This new format promotes fair competition, encourages participation across all generations, and allows us to recognize top finishers in each category. Get ready to lace up your shoes and race for a chance to take home bragging rights in your age group!
T-SHIRTS
The FIRST 300 entries will receive FREE T-shirts.
POST RACE PARTY
Participants and supporters are invited back to the Charles River Center for food, drinks, and a festive celebration after the run.
CREATE A TEAM
Anyone can form a team!
Coworkers, employees, friends, family, neighbors, housemates etc.
Teams must have a minimum of 5 members to qualify for team prizes.
Team Captain receives a free entry for every 5 team members who sign up.
