Race day info and schedule of events
If you're an avid runner or only care to run if being chased by hoards of zombies, I have the PERFECT road race for you! The distance should be easily attainable for even the greatest of couch warriors!!
With the help of my friends at Bent Water Brewing in Lynn, we will be hosting the first ever Bent Water Brewing 0.0K with proceeds going to Boston Children's Hospital and my fundraising efforts for the 2023 Boston Marathon!!
By preregistering for the event, you will be issued your very own numbered running bib, some race swag (to show off your success) and a complimentary beer once you cross the finish line of this challenging course. The race will begin promptly at 12:00 pm at the starting line just outside the brewery. Fear not, we will have a convenient water stop on the way to the finish line to keep runners hydrated. Once you cross that line, make your way to the bar and tables inside AND out, to rehydrate and celebrate a race well run.
Although not mandatory, we strongly suggest sporting your BEST RUNNING ATTIRE, to take full advantage of the spirit of a 0.0k race! There will be awards for division winners and best dressed. Great tunes provided by my buddy Sean Degan, an amazing array of apps to fit the tone of race day all provided by chef extraordinaire Alison Riley and of course the tremendous selection of local brews provided by our amazing host.
Schedule:
11:45am– Check in, and pre-run group stretch
12:00pm – Race begins
12:01pm – Race complete!
12:30pm – Awards Ceremony and post-
race celebration
4:00pm - The Fundraiser officially ends but you're welcome to stay as the Brewery closes at 6pm.
