Granby Wrestling Program
CAUSE: This 5k/1Mile Fun Run/ Walk is to help raise money for the wrestling program at Granby Jr/Sr High School. The wrestling team works hard and needs your help to keep the program running. The costs to keep the program running include equipment costs, registration expenses, competition fees, travel costs (buses), uniforms, and hiring referees. Please consider helping the Wrestling team by signing up for the fun run/ walk today!
PARKING: Parking Fee is $5 at the gate and is NOT included! Please park in the parking lot on the Kendall Street side and report to the Gazebo by 9:45 am for a prompt start of 10am.
CHECK-IN: Check- In and t-shirt pick up, for those who signed up by the 5/19/23 deadline will begin at 9:00 am.
BATHROOMS: Bathrooms are located at the pavilion on the Kendall Street side and Sani-cans are also available throughout the park.
KIDS 1 MILE RACE AWARDS: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be presented to the 3 fastest runners who cross the finish line!
T-SHIRTS
Here are the t-shirts designed by a Granby Wrestler! T-shirt orders need to be in by 5/19/23 if you would like a t-shirt for the day of the event. Another order will be placed for all participants who register after the deadline and t-shirt pickup will be at a later date.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in this walk/fun run fundraiser, I agree to assume
all risks inherent in participation in such walk/run, whether they are apparent to me or not. I certify that I am in
good physical health and fit to participate. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that participation carries an inherent
risk of injury to my person and damage to my property. I hereby waive and release, for myself and for my heirs
and assigns, any and all claims, causes of action, or liabilities which may hereafter accrue against the Granby Wrestling program, and its affiliates, their agents, employees, volunteers, officers, directors, successors and
assigns, the Charter Day Committee, the Town of Granby, and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, that may arise as a result of my participation in this event, including any and all claims for personal injuries caused by the volunteers for the Granby Wrestling Program negligence.
Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures,
recordings, or any other record of these events for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising,
