After the Race
We hope you'll join us for a cranberry feast after the run/walk! The post-race festivities include complimentary cranberry treats, lunch refreshments, and an outdoor award reception (weather depending).
T-shirts
T-shirt deadline: Entries received by October 6th are guaranteed a Grumpy’s 5K t-shirt. Entries received after October 6th are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Parking
Plenty of parking is available for the event. Follow the signs along Tihonet Road and they will guide you to the designated parking areas.
Pet Policy
Due to insurance and liability issues imposed, no pets are allowed at the event. That means NO DOGS allowed with runners or walkers on the course and we kindly ask spectators to leave ALL PETS at home. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Awards
Unique cranberry focused awards will be presented to first, second and third prize winners in each age category for both male and females. Prizes are also awarded to the top male and top female finisher.

Course
A wooded nature trail situated among one of Massachusetts' most beautiful wonders - cranberry bogs! The trail surface includes sand, stones, grass, turf, mud, and asphalt.
Who is Grumpy?
The race is named for Robert "Grumpy" Conway, a longtime A.D. Makepeace Company employee and nature-lover who passed away in 2010. A special display of his nature-inspired photography will be available for viewing during the post-race festivities.
About Grumpy's 5K
Enjoy this nature lover’s trail run/walk around the cranberry bogs during cranberry country’s favorite time of year! Children, adults, runners, walkers, nature enthusiasts, and cranberry lovers will enjoy this beautiful route while learning some berry fun facts along the way!
The event attracts every type of runner and is great for the whole family. Proceeds to benefit the Cranberry Educational Foundation's Scholarship Fund.
Covid-19
We ask that any participant, spectator, or volunteer that is not feeling well in ANY way do not attend the event. We expect all attendees to adhere to the most current state and local recommendations for the health and safety of all. Should the event be canceled due to safety concerns or state regulations, registered participants will be offered an opportunity to transfer their payment to next year or select to donate the fees to the Cranberry Educational Foundation. Refunds will not be offered.
