Founded in 2016, the Bridgewater Police Foundation was created with the primary mission of funding programs and activities designed to strengthen the services and professionalism of the men and women of the Bridgewater Police Department. The Foundation accepts donations annually for this purpose, and allocates proceeds from the Bridgewater Police 5k & 1mi Kids Fun Run for that year's designated primary charity.
