Registration
Early registrants will receive a New Balance (technical) t-shirt AND a Nathan Sports stainless steel water bottle!
Race day registration for the Kids Fun Run will begin at 8:45 AM and ends promptly at 9:15 AM.
Race day registration for the 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 AM and ends promptly at 10 AM.
Packet Pick-up
Race packet pick-up will be held from 2 PM to 7 PM on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Greater Boston Running Company (1844 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA).
Start Times
Kids Fun Run Starts at 9:30 AM.
5K Run/Walk at 10:30 AM.
Parking
Limited parking is available in the Lexington Montessori School (LMS) lot until 9 AM. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to park in the LMS lot you will be required to stay until after the 5K has been completed - (approx. 11:30 AM)
Parking is also available at the following locations:
- on the LMS side of Pleasant Street (except for the cut-out across from the Rte 2 off ramp)
- on the LMS side of Lawrence Lane
- in the neighborhood of Worthen Road East
- Bowman School parking lot
PLEASE do not park in areas where "No Parking" signs have been posted. Thank you!
Course Description
The Kids Fun Run will take place on the LMS campus. 2-3 year olds will run one loop on the LMS mini-track (one loop is approximately one tenth of a mile). 4-5 year olds will run two loops on the LMS mini-track. 6-7 year olds will run three loops on the LMS mini-track. 8+ year olds will run out to the LMS upper field and back (approximately half a mile).
The 5K Run/Walk will begin and end at LMS; the course goes through neighborhoods near the school (streets include: Worthen, Philip, Buckman, Dawes, Follen, Lexington, and Locust). The course has a moderate hill at mile 0.75.
Charitable Donations
Proceeds from the Lexington Montessori School (LMS) 5K Run/Walk will go to the LMS Annual Fund. The Annual Fund covers expenses and supports ongoing priorities such as faculty salaries and benefits, financial aid to students and all classroom material expenses, just to name a few.
LMS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization; contributions are tax-deductible.
Group Training
Whether its your 1st ever 5K or your 10th 5K, if you would like to train with a group, then starting on March 12, 2011, group runs/walks will be held every Saturday morning at 8 am. We will meet in front of Peets Coffee Shop in Lexington, MA (1749 Massachusetts Ave., Town Center).

Service Fee
The total cost to register will be $22.75 after a $2.75 service fee for credit card processing.
