About the Program
NOTE: The program is FULL for 12-14 year old sprinters (but available for the distance team at this age). The program is FULL for age 7-14 distance runners at the 10:40 am session (but there there is availability for sprint teams at this age). ALL teams are ALMOST full so register asap if interested in the program.

The Needham Track Club Fall Track Program is open to children age 3.5 - 14. The program meets on Sundays from September 8 - November 3, 2024 (November 11 is a rain date) at DeFazio Track, 380 Dedham Avenue in Needham (02492). There are two sessions to choose from: 9:15 - 10:20 am and 10:40 - 11:45 am. Children age 7-14 can choose a sprinting group or a distance group.

The weekly sessions include warm up, stretching, running drills, sprinting and distance training, hurdles, field event technique building and warm down. Field event training will be available on events such as high jump, long jump, shot put, standing triple jump, and turbo jav. Children are placed in small groups where they remain for the entire session. We will hold sessions on Sundays.

The season tuition includes an NYTC Fall Program T-shirt, all practice sessions, and registration fee for certain cross country meets.

This includes, but is not limited to, collisions and interactions among children and adults, injuries due to contact with the facilities or equipment, or to weather conditions. I give approval to 
my family’s participation in the Fall Track Program. All family participants are in sound medical condition for on-field activities. I understand that medical insurance is not provided. My signature authorizes the use, without compensation or any further consideration for any photographic product (picture, film, or video) generated at this program or associated meets.
