General Information
When you race the long hills of the 11K course, you will experience why the Lapham Peak Ski trails have won an award for best-groomed trails, especially now that we have a piston bully groomer. Ski the race and then enjoy “cooling down” on the entire Lapham Peak system. In case of poor snow conditions, a lap race will be held on the manmade snow loops. The new Lapham Lodge with heated indoor toilets will be available. Sorry, no refunds. Pre-registration fees will be donated to the Snowmaking Project in case of race cancellation. Chip timing by Trackside Timing will time the race but not the laps. 2026 Annual State Park Sticker and Annual Trail Pass required or $10 special event fee and daily ski trail pass...Pay at office window.

I know that skiing the Lapham Peak Ski Trails is a potentially hazardous activity. I assume all risks associated with the event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including cold and frozen ground and the conditions of the course which may include rough terrain, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. . Having read this waiver for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, I waive and release the Lapham Peak Friends, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and its employees from all claims of ordinary negligence or liabilities of any kind out of my participation in this event.
