Online registration has ended for preparations.
Written registration will begin on Sunday at 1pm, and go to 1:50. After, the race starts at 2.
Free commemorative t-shirt while supplies last.
Race Information & Highlights
Join hundreds of walkers, joggers and runners at Devereux Beach Marblehead on Sunday afternoon, October 2 for the Autumn Harvest Run4Chloe 5K Road Race.
-Day-of-race registration (cash or check) and number pick-up: between 1:00-1:50 PM.
-Race start time: 2:00 PM sharp.
-Race begins on Ocean avenue adjacent to Devereux Beach; continues across the Causeway, around a portion of Marblehead Neck, and back.
-T-shirts are available for the first 200 registrants.
-Medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) to be awarded for male/female age categories.
-A community event, you don’t need to be a runner to support Chloë! Participate in our Raffle between 1:00 – 2:15 PM at the race location. Lots of great prizes from 15+ local merchants (see below)
-Runners get 3 free raffle tickets. Additional tickets 3/$25
-On-site parking available at Devereux Beach (155 Ocean Avenue, Marblehead).

Race Background & Purpose
Proceeds exceeding race costs will go toward completing construction of an addition to the Rombach home, allowing their 24-year old daughter Chloë to return home two years after experiencing devastating injuries when struck while in a crosswalk and dragged 150 feet. She was on her way to work in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts when the accident occured. Chloë currently resides at Tewksbury Hospital, after lengthy stays at Bay State Medical Center, Mass General ICU Trauma center, and Spaulding North Shore Rehabilitation Hospital.
Chloë Rombach was born in Marblehead, attended Marblehead Schools and was a cantor at various churches. She was widely known as a gifted vocalist. She was a member of the MHS A Capella group “The Jewel Tones.” She played Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz" and Maria in "West Side Story" for middle and high school productions. After a gap year working for the World Organization of Organic Farmers, she graduated from UMass Amherst in three years with a degree in Sustainable Farming. She also completed a one-year long yoga program at Karuna Center for Yoga in Northampton where she was a yoga instructor. Our races’ name, “Autumn Harvest, Run4Chloë” derives from Chloë’s background in agriculture. The Rombach family appreciates the love and support of Chloe’s friends, and the wider community. Her return home will allow Chloe to be in the constant presence of her loving family and friends, and reduce the overall financial cost of care.
