About
Last year, for the first time, The Winter Warlock Road Race added a Half Marathon to the 5K and 10K. For 2017 we are at it again, adding an 18 Mile distance option. All race distances take place on historic Old Sandwich Road, the oldest public road in America and the site of several historic landmarks. The Winter Warlock was created as Plymouths "coolest" road racing event with one of the most scenic wintertime courses in New England. Now long distance runners can kick off their spring 1/2 Marathon race training and their Boston Marathon training schedules earlier with the Winter Warlock Half Marathon and 18 Miler. Stay warm inside our new start venue - historic Plimoth Plantation. It's a really nice venue with catered refreshments. Easy on and off from the highway.

Course
Scenic Course down and back Old Sandwich Road, America/s Oldest Public Road. Moderately hilly but achievable. Flat dirt terrain on 1/3 of the Half Marathon course and Dirt Terrain on approximately 60% of the 18 Miler course.
Awards
Awards will be given for top three male and female in each age categories in each race and age groups as follows. 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Number Pickup
There is NO EARLY NUMBER PICKUP FOR THIS EVENT. All number pickup happens at the event starting 1.5 hours before the race.
Post Race Party
We will have a nice post-race awards party with beer tasting from Independent Fermentations and other local beer brewers. Food catered by Plimoth Plantation Catering.
Parking
There is ample parking at Plimoth Plantation. Please use upper parking lot and follow signs. Attendants will guide you.
