About This Event
The Victoria Sousa Run/Walk supports the Victoria Sousa Foundation providing scholarships to young boys and girls to attend Saint Philomena School and Bay View Academy. Victoria Sousa, 12, of Bristol, died unexpectedly on October 26, 2009 of the H1N1 Flu Virus. Flu vaccinations are available on race day.
Awards
Awards will be given in the 5K race to the overall top male and female finishers and the age group winners in the following categories: 12 & Under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. The top three teams, with five runners scoring, will also receive awards.
Parking
There is plenty of parking for the race in Colt State Park just before and right after the registration, start/finish area.
