ESPN Unified Challenge - Community Division Information
The ESPN Unified Challenge – Community Division is designed to be a fun competition where teams of 4 co-workers, friends or family members will join together with a Special Olympics athlete and a law enforcement officer or fire department personnel to create a unified team. Teams will rotate at their own pace through activity stations in a round robin format, scoring points at each station. After round robin competition has completed, top teams will advance to the event finals. On top of the “competitiveness” of the event, the event will also award “spot prizes” at activities to continue the fun (prize for hole in one, bulls-eye, etc.) and “spirit awards” for teams showing the most spirit, sportsmanship and more.
